NEW PODCAST EXPLORES TABOO TOPICS TO EMPOWER WOMEN
The Goddess Power Show with Elizabeth Ann AtkinsTM Launches with Sex Tech CEO
Lora DiCarlo Sharing Her Story to Promote Pleasure for Power & Wellness
METRO DETROIT — A new podcast explores taboo topics to help women live bigger, better, and bolder, and manifest the lives they truly desire.
The Goddess Power Show with Elizabeth Ann Atkins is now live on all major podcasting platforms.
The first episode, The Power of Pleasure, features sex tech CEO Lora DiCarlo, who had such an earth-shattering orgasm that she worked with engineers to create products that mimic human touch and help ensure women climax every time.
Lora’s mission exemplifies that of The Goddess Power Show with Elizabeth Ann Atkins, because she’s working to·
• shatter the stigma around women’s sexuality;
• promote the health-boosting benefits of pleasure as an integral part of women’s mental and physical wellness; and
• cultivate “pleasure equity” to “close the orgasm gap” that leaves a third of women unsatisfied in hetero sex.
New episodes of The Goddess Power Show with Elizabeth Ann Atkins go live every Wednesday. Upcoming shows include an interview with award-wining journalist Rachel Krantz, who graphically chronicles her open relationship in a book, Open: an uncensored memoir of love, liberation and non-monogamy. She takes the reader into sex parties and tropical swingers’ resorts—and into her mind and heart to show that the lifestyle isn’t all about pleasure and passion; it can trigger painful jealousy and anxiety-induced illness. In this interview, Rachel inspires listeners to consider if an open relationship is right for them.
Another upcoming show features psychotherapist Stella O’Malley, whose Tedx Talk entitled, We Need to Talk About Slut Shaming Among Teenagers, describes her goal to stop slut-shaming by teenaged boys who have weaponized social media to devastate girls with harassing messages, photos, and videos. The Bully-Proof Kids author also wants to banish society’s celebration of boys and men as studs, while condemning girls and women as sluts.
Exposing and inspiring conversations around these topics is the mission of The Goddess Power Show, as explained on the website, TheGoddessPowerShow.com and in the show’s trailer.
“I created this podcast to introduce women to new ways of thinking, living, and loving,” says Elizabeth Ann Atkins, a bestselling author and CEO of Two Sisters Writing & Publishing, which has written and/or published 33 memoirs, novels, and business books since 2016.
“After my fairytale wedding led to a nightmare divorce,” she says, “I questioned society’s templates of heterosexual monogamy, oppressive rules around women’s sexuality, and the fears and anxieties around being called a slut with a ruined personal and professional reputation. On the podcast, I’m showing that women are free to reject convention and curate bold mindsets and lifestyles that awaken our greatest power to be and do anything, while influencing the world in a positive way that prospers us and thrills us at the same time.”
Elizabeth’s Goddess mission is not about being a diva… feeling superior… or lounging around being fanned by palm fronds while eating grapes and chocolates.
It’s about finding power in the pain, as she did during her divorce. She explains this in her upcoming book, The Biss Tribe: Activating Your Goddess Power. She also leads meditations and erotic writing programs that help women access and activate their power. The podcast is her way to sharing these messages with women everywhere.
Elizabeth is available for media interviews.
